Tips and recommendations for the best home steam bath experience

Don’t Use Oil or Lotion Before You Start the Steam

Before you start your steam bath, make sure you don’t apply any oil or lotion to your skin. Doing so will cause your pores to clog more and prevent the steam from working efficiently.

Essential oils

There are many types and they all fall under aromatherapy. Some oils can cause skin irritation so be cautious when you use them.

Listen to your body and watch the timer.

According experts it is recommended that stay for no more than 30 minutes. However, you should check if you are able to wait that long. It is also beneficial to take a steam bath at your home two to three times per week. However, it is up to the individual to decide how often.

When is the Best Time to Take A Steam Bath

You can take a steam bath whenever you like. A steam bath will prepare you for relaxation. It is best to take a steam bath after a workout or at the end to really enjoy it.
